The Association is committed to protecting your personal data and will use any data we collect from you in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, in particular, the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (the ‘GDPR’).
We will treat any personal data we collect about you as confidential. Whenever we collect such data, we will ask for your consent and let you know what it will be used for. We will not disclose it to anyone unless you specifically allow us to do so.
If you access links to third-party services such as Facebook, Google or YouTube, they may collect data about you. We have no control over what they collect or how they use it. You should check their privacy policy.

Who’s responsible for data we collect?
The Association is the Data Controller under the GDPR. The Association’s Data Protection Officer can be contacted by email at info@orchestre-uccle.be.
This website and the data we collect are stored on the servers of SiteW, who is the Data Processor under the GDPR. Their privacy policy can be consulted here.
What are your rights?
You have the right to request details of the information we hold about you and/or to request its removal at any time by calling the Association’s Secretary on 0123 456 789, or by sending an email to info@orchestre-uccle.be.
If you have any queries about this website, or would like information to be included, amended or deleted please let us know by email to the same address. If we have inadvertently infringed any form of intellectual property rights or data protection, please accept our apologies and email us. We will make the necessary corrections as quickly as possible.
What data do we collect and what do we use it for?
The Association collects the following personal data to help us plan, organise and run the Association’s activities (e.g. co-ordinating rehearsals, keeping track of subscriptions paid) and to promote them (e.g. newsletter, photography, video capture). We do not pass any of this information on to third parties.
Everyone visiting the website
We use Google analytics to collect basic information about visits to our website (e.g. number of visitors). This may store a cookie on you computer.
A cookie is stored temporarily on your computer with some details about you to make it easier for you to use the website. You can find out more about cookies here.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for your email address in order to send it to you. We store it until you unsubscribe.
The newsletter includes the option to unsubscribe. You can also cancel your subscription at any time by sending an email to info@orchestre-uccle.be.
Members
When you join the Association or during your membership, we collect and store the following personal data for internal administrative purposes: Name, Forename, Instrument, Email, Mobile or Phone Number, and Address). In addition, you may give us any other information you wish, e.g. your Birthday.
This data will be used by committee members to manage your membership of the Association and to help us organise and run our activities. If you give your consent, your contact details will be used to send you communications from the Association. Any communication will include a clear option to withdraw your consent (e.g. to ‘opt out’ of future member newsletters) and you can also withdraw any consent at any time by sending an email to info@orchestre-uccle.be.
You will be able to choose which of your contact details, if any, can be made available for other members to consult.
When you leave the orchestra you can tell us whether to delete your details or whether to keep them and for how long.
Applicants for membership
The details you provide will be kept for 1 year unless you specify otherwise in your application.
Concert audiences
If we take advance bookings for a concert, we need to collect data on the person booking (name and email or telephone) to send confirmation of the reservation. This data will only be used for administering your access to the concert in question.
